For 2014, the Charger Pursuit gets SecurePark for anti-theft while engine running, and the must-have option of ParkSense rear ultrasonic sensors. The big news comes in mid-2014 with the BR9 “Big Brake” package on all Chargers and the option of All-Wheel Drive with the V8 Chargers.

The no charge, in-house Dodge Charger Technician Training is available at host police and sheriffs departments running larger fleets of Chargers. The course works for all fleet personnel from the fleet manager to the maintenance and repair technician. The tech training covers the V6 and V8 Charger, and the RAM / Durango SSV…and now the All-Wheel Drive Charger.

The CHP had a freeze on enforcement vehicle purchases, and their legendary upfitting facility would soon be idled. The NHP was looking for a single standardized way to upfit their Ford PI Utility. Having the CHP build the first order of NHP vehicles would help the CHP retool for their coming PI Utility and provide the NHP with state-wide identical vehicles. This is an example of excellent interagency cooperation.
